Written by an experienced teacher, this is a comprehensive theory and practice question resource to accompany students throughout Year 13 and to provide them with additional practice questions on all of the major quantitative elements of the Edexcel A Level Business qualification. Each topic has a brief theory based overview before there are a series of mini case studies each with three questions per case. The resource contains detailed answers and plenty of model responses to the larger mark questions. Provided in Word format to enable additional editing. The Year 12 version is available separately.
An extensive resource pack of GCSE, AS and A Level revision notes and support materials. There is obviously some over lap as these materials also include the older resources for the legacy A Level but many boards still make use of these materials. The GCSE packs provide guidance for pupils who might be struggling with the more numerical aspects of the course and they have often proven useful as LS materials at a higher level. The pack also includes a couple of revision packs focused upon financial ratios and investment appraisal which A Level pupils should find very useful. They also come with answers and revision mind maps. Overall, a very good value pack for teachers and pupils alike.
Teaching Business have produced a comprehensive set of revision notes in a single PDF file format to assist students with their study of the Eduqas Component Two paper. The notes are written by an experienced examiner and Head of Department and provide specific guidance on the knowledge required and an accessible means of learning about the core themes of the paper.
Specific topic content covered within the notes include:
Data Analysis
Market Analysis including price and income elasticity calculations
Sales Forecasting
Analysing Financial Performance
Balance Sheets
Financial Ratios
Budgeting and Variance Analysis
Aims and Objectives
SWOT Analysis, Porter’s Five Force Model and Ansoff’s Matrix
Business Growth
Decision Tree Analysis
Critical Path Analysis
Investment Appraisal (Payback, ARR and NPV)
Special Order Decisions
A detailed series of marketing notes for GCSE and A Level Business that include revision sheets and some more in depth learning support style materials. The pack does have some over lapping materials as it includes some of the legacy sheets but many exam boards still study these areas e.g. marketing plans, and so I have included them.
